This is a PR bibliographical resource that can be maintained by a number of enthusiasts and academics who seek to maintain a global resource for Public Relations students, researchers and practitioners.

It is at an early stage in development and needs your papers and books, more editing, more collaborative contribution and lots of use to make it worthwhile for all in our profession. Adding and editing your own work would be a great first contribution and thanks to anyone who does on behalf of those of us who want to reference your works.

This is companion to Richard Bailey's PR Books wiki and Philip Young's Mediations wiki (honest we did not know we were all spending our summer creating PR bibliographies). Richard has a list of other PR bibliographies on PR Books here.

The content can be searched in many ways. You can create reading lists for courses and can make them available to students, print them, edit them and share them globally.

Some time ago, I created a bibliography of works about PR evaluation hosted here.

It has two drawbacks. The first is that it needs to be updated every three months or so and the second is that it is hard for other people to help with its maintenance because it is a conventional web site.

The first idea was to transpose it into a wiki so that others could help keep it up to date.

At the same time, like many others, I am in the process of developing a number of courses. Each needs its own literature and it seemed to me that it would be a good idea to combine the lists and, at the same time offer colleagues an opportunity to add their one course literature lists which could then be made available to students and, at the same time could add to a PR specific literature forresearchers, students and practitioners.

The result is this wiki.

This is organised into literature and online resources available for public reference.

There is a Master Index of resources which links the literature reference to a page which allows the tutor to create both a course reading list and a list of courses.

It is a capability that allows the contributors to comment about content on any page which will help us all gain insights from participating colleagues.

This site was started by David Phillips to save time in preparing student resources in the fields of Internet Mediated Public Relations and PR Evaluation.

Soon I hope to involve a lot of people in this project and will keep a full list of Contributors here.

If you are a poor student (yes there are poor students still), there is some reward in being a volunteer editor too just give me a call from myblog.
